Wolverhampton Council

You have to love the council. About three months ago they fitted me with all double glazing which was great but then they decided to replace all the fascias and guttering with new UPVC ones. They came and put the scaffolding up then left it there two months before actually doing any work. Eventually they came and did all the work they needed to do but that was all finished nearly a month ago.

Anyway about three weeks ago they came and took half of it down so me being silly I presumed it was all going to go. Later that afternoon they came and put it back up again even though all the work was done and that was the last time I saw them.

Today I rang the council to see when it was going to go, and after going several departments I finally spoke to the guy in charge. I asked him when it would be going and he replied “you have no scaffolding”, I said “erm yes we do”. “Can you just go outside and check its still there” he asked. Now I kept my cool and politely pointed out that all I need to do is look out of my window to see twenty foot of metal piping attached to the outside. Anyway it will apparently be going in the next few days, will let you know if it does.

Well this is a little bit about me I guess. I am 36 and come from sunny Wolverhampton which is in the West Midlands, England. I am a single nerd and gadget freak who spends way too much time on the net. This is probably the third blog I have set up but this time it might actually get some use I am going to use it to plot my journey to lose weight using the Cambridge Diet. Come back soon and see how I am going!
