Is that clock moving?

God weekends are so boring. Woke up at 5.30 this morning and it was so bright and the birds were singing I could not get back to sleep. Instead I watched some really crap TV for a few hours then logged on to start my daily net fix. I went through my usual routine, checked all my usual sites and my email accounts, looked at the clock and still wasn’t even nine ………… arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
The rest of the day was pretty much the same as any other Saturday, few hours watching TV, few hours on the PS3 (yesssssssssss I have nearly finished Lego Star Wars) and then a few more hours trying to amuse myself online. My problem is I get bored REALLY quickly so am always looking for new stuff to amuse myself and today I turned to Google Earth.
I had not used it for a while and was surprised how much better it had got; the images are better, there is more interaction and now there is the inclusion of Google Universe so I can now hunt for aliens from the comfort of my sofa!
Anyway back to the story. After flying round the world for a few hours doing my superman impression I decided to visit some old haunts. Every year my old next door neighbour used to give my family a weeks free holiday in his caravan in Rhyl North Wales. I know it’s not the most glamorous of places but it holds so many good memories for me. I know that place and most of the surrounding areas like the back of my hand so I took a virtual tour down memory lane and enjoyed every minute.
I won’t bore you with it tonight but I warn you, sometime soon I am going to do the tour again and tell you all about it and may even borrow a few Google images; I bet you can’t wait.
Not really worried about my diet today, had one of my last few days of freedom, Monday is the cut off day so I have two days to prepare before Cambridge kicks in and I start shrinking!
